We do not store your CRM records, messages, or leads.

1. Zero Data Retention Architecture

Qwikerr is designed from the ground up to minimize data collection. We operate a "Zero Data Retention" architecture regarding your CRM data. This means:

  • We do not have a database that stores your CRM contacts, leads, accounts, opportunities, or activities.
  • We do not see, store, or transmit the content of your WhatsApp messages, LinkedIn DMs, or emails.
  • The Qwikerr browser extension acts as a direct conduit between your browser and your CRM's API. When you view a contact or create a lead, that data flows directly from the web page to your CRM using your browser's internet connection. Our servers are completely bypassed in this data flow.

This approach fundamentally eliminates the risk of Qwikerr acting as a weak link in your organization's security posture.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect the absolute minimum data required to provide and maintain your account and the extension's functionality:

  • Account Information: When you register on qwikerr.com, we collect your name, email address, password (hashed and salted), and company name.
  • Billing Information: If you upgrade to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your billing details. Qwikerr does not process or store your full credit card number.
  • Extension Metadata: The extension stores your CRM OAuth tokens locally in your browser's encrypted storage. It does not send these tokens to our servers.
  • Website Analytics: We collect aggregated, anonymized usage data on qwikerr.com (not within the extension on other sites) to understand how visitors use our marketing site.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the account information we collect solely for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and support your Qwikerr account.
  • To process transactions and send related information, including confirmations and invoices.
  • To send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
  • To respond to your comments, questions, and customer service requests.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your account information only in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers

With trusted third-party vendors who perform work on our behalf (e.g., Stripe for payment processing, AWS for user data infrastructure).

Legal Compliance

If required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations.

Business Transfers

In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your account information is stored securely on servers located in the AWS US-East region. We use industry-standard security measures, including TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit, to protect your account information.

Because we do not store your CRM data, a breach of Qwikerr's servers would not expose your company's leads, contacts, deals, or chat history.

6. Third-Party Services and APIs

Qwikerr connects to third-party CRMs (like Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) via their official APIs using OAuth 2.0. By authenticating a CRM, you are granting Qwikerr permission to act on your behalf locally within your browser to read and write data to that CRM.

The use of data received from any CRM API will adhere to that specific CRM's API terms of service. Qwikerr's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you have certain data protection rights, including the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal account information.

Note on CRM Data (DSARs):

Because Qwikerr retains no CRM data, we cannot fulfill data subject access requests (DSARs) or deletion requests regarding your leads or contacts. You must handle those requests directly within your CRM platform. Uninstalling the Qwikerr extension entirely removes its ability to access your CRM.

To exercise your rights regarding your Qwikerr account data, contact us at [email protected].
